New Muses in Concert

New Muses Project is delighted to present a program of hidden gems in choral and chamber music. The virtuosic and declamatory Psalm settings of Ulysses Kay and George Walker give way to Germaine Tailleferre’s richly sublime String Quartet, while Imogen Holst’s contemplative and expansive Psalm settings round off the first half. Hailstork’s Songs of Innocence captures the essence of childhood, a nostalgic escape from the bustle of everyday life.

This concert celebrates the launch of the New Muses Project web resource for the exploration of diverse composers. For more information, please visit newmusesproject.com.
