The Thirteen: Come With Me

Join The Thirteen as we explore Romantic ideals in music with composers from the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. At the heart of this concert is Samuel Barber’s Reincarnations, a lush setting of ancient Irish poetry which The Thirteen first performed in 2016. Also including Benjamin Britten’s end-of-life magnum opus Sacred and Profane, two of Brahms’ dramatic motets, a world premiere by British composer Ed Rex, and works by Bruckner, George Walker, and Caroline Shaw. This is a concert not to miss!
